NIA CARP-IC PROJECTS

For years NIA-CARP IC completed and proposed  projects in Zambales have demonstrated remarkable  performances in terms of institutional and  o and M activities. Two (2) ARISP projects completed in 2011, the Lomboy CIS of Almasin Lomboy IA and the Taposo CIS of Dalig Hobol IA have exhibited great performance in the operation and management of their irrigation system thru  their respective  irrigator Associations.

Just recently, the Dalig Hobol IA of Taposo CIS located in Candelaria, Zambales is chosen as the regional nominee for the National Search for Most Outstanding IA under CARP-IC  for CY-2018. IDS Staff from CARP-IC Division from NIA Central Office under the leadership of Engr. Delsy Revellame , Engr. Concepcion C. Cablayan and Ms. Jona Lee, came over to conduct the  actual  evaluation and data validation of the IA  on June 3, 2019. Present also during the validation are NIA-Region 3 IDS Staff headed by Mr. Virgilio E. Flores, IDS Chief and Engr. Santiago Yalong, Supervising IDO.

It was just another great privilege to this small association to be considered as nominee in this prestigious competition and they will sensibly take this as challenge and opportunity to strive more to reach the goal.

On the other hand,  the Upper Salaza CIS a completed  ARCDP project in 2009,  located in Palauig Zambales signs MOA on April 26, 2019  for another project of canal improvement and repair of Diversion works worth 4 MILLION pesos to be implemented this CY-2019.

As manifest of its quick and fast responses, another CARP-IC proposed project for 2019 , the Sta. Rita PIP of Buklod Sta. Rita IA signs MOA dated June 21, 2019. The  newly organized and registered IA with SEC, have shown full support and cooperation to  the elected IA officers with its President, Mr. Monet N. Ungco, a young leader  who diligently  done their part in the preparation of data and documents needed in  the immediate registration of their IA to Securities and Exchange Commission.

Another CARP-IC project, the Anonang PIP , pet project of our beloved District 2 Representative Congresswoman Cheryll Deloso Montalla was turn-over in January 26, 2019 to Sitio Alebujes Barangay Anonang IA.
