NIA COOP TURNS 29

It is the day of lovers. Hearts day as many say, but it is a very important day for the NIA Region 3 Multipurpose Cooperative because it is the day of its birth. The cooperative celebrating 29 years of service to its members. Nearly 300 NIA employees/members attended the celebration in a green shirt provided by the cooperative. Fifty (50) packs of assorted groceries were given away in between the parts of the program.

The celebration has been even more colorful and historical for the Special Guest Speaker invited was the NIA Deputy Administrator for Administrative and Finance, Madam Estrella E. Icasiano. The very first time ever that the NIA Multipurpose Cooperative was graced by the Deputy Administrator as its Special Guest Speaker.

Madam Icasiano in her message advised the officers and members of the cooperative to find additional income generating programs, which will provide additional revenue, and not to concentrate in loanings alone. She expressed her deepest gratitude of becoming a part of the NIA MPC as time depositor.

But of course, the day would not be enough without the presence of the lovable NIA Region 3 Manager Josephine B. Salazar, who also delivered a very inspiring message for the cooperative and its members.

Contemporaneous with the program, the election of new Board of Directors and Working Committees took place.
