After 3 years of rehabilitation, the Angat Afterbay Regulator Dam or mostly known as Bustos Dam, a run of the river type of dam, located in Tibagan, Bustos, Bulacan is at 98.66% completed where the major scheme of work is the replacement of rubber gates in seven (7) pier measuring 79 meters each laid above a concrete ogee dam measuring at 76.9 meter each pier. The remaining work so far is the installation of sprinkler in the rubber gates.

The entire Central Luzon was shaken by   a magnitude 6.1 tectonic earthquake on April 22, 2019 with its epicenter located in the mountains between the provinces of Pampanga and Zambales.
