The Nueva Ecija Satellite Office conducted a Basic Leadership Development Course for Sitio Salwit Irrigators Association Inc. in Hillywood Resort, Brgy. Cuyapa, Gabaldon, Nueva Ecija. The course shall equip the IAs with the necessary leadership skills and knowledge to become a more productive, efficient, and effective association.
An IA Coordination Meeting was conducted with IA President Cesar Bantique of Laur Communal Irrigators Association. The meeting was held in light of the conversion of the Laur Communal Irrigation System to a National Irrigation System and an inventory of canal and canal structures was also performed during the meeting. Laur CIS currently irrigates 1,100 hectares of farmland in the Municipality of Laur, Nueva Ecija.
The NIA TASMORIS conducted a campaign on the Free Irrigation Service Act (FISA) or condonation of IA loans for the TGIS IA. The meeting was attended by the majority of Chairmen of TGIS and it was conducted in two batches.
On October 27, 2021, the NIA TASMORIS Office facilitated the Awarding Ceremony of Fuel Subsidy for Tarlac Groundwater Irrigation System (TGIS) led by NIA TARZAM IMO Manager Engr. Jaime A. Mananghaya, TASMORIS Chief Engr. Ruben R. Llamas together with the staff from the Institutional Development Unit.
The Porac Gumain RIS conducted the Repair of Siphon at Main Canal West, Fortuna, Floridablanca, Pampanga to irrigate 4BSM IA's area of about 80 hectares.
