THE PORAC GUMAIN RIS

THE PORAC GUMAIN RIS, located in Floridablanca, Pampanga, is one of the beneficiaries of the National Irrigation Sector Rehabilitation and Improvement Project under the Japan International Cooperation Agency-funded projects. The Project started on December 1, 2015 and was finally turned over on July 22, 2021.

It is currently serving a total of 3,249.95 hectares of agricultural lands in Pampanga with 4,045 farmer beneficiaries comprising 27 Irrigators Associations under four councils.

THE UPPER GUMAIN IRRIGATION PROJECT

THE UPPER GUMAIN IRRIGATION PROJECT has a total Service Area of 16,750 hectares, benefitting 4,114 farmers in Pampanga. It covers the areas of Lubao, Floridablanca, Sta. Rita and Guagua Pampanga. Construction Works for CY 2018 and 2020 are completed. As of July 15, 2021, the Project's Accomplishment for CY 2021 is at 100%.

THE BULO Small River Irrigation Project

THE BULO Small River Irrigation Project is located at Malibay, San Miguel, Bulacan. It has a Total Service Area of 570 hectares and 420 Farmer Beneficiaries. The Project started in January 2014 and its Target Completion Date is May 2022. Its features are the Construction of a 30.5m Earth Fill Dam, Irrigation Facilities and Appurtenant Structures to Distribute Water to Irrigation Canals.

THE NORTH LAWIS IRRIGATION PROJECT

THE NORTH LAWIS IRRIGATION PROJECT, located at Candelaria, Zambales, is a medium-scale development project which aims to provide year-round irrigation water supply to about 1,270 hectares of agricultural lands in Zambales with 1,250 farmer beneficiaries. Construction started in January 2018 and has a target completion date of December 2022.

BANE IMO and Office of the Provincial Agriculturist - Nueva Ecija Meeting on Devolution

In line with the implementation of the Supreme Court decision on the Mandanas Case, the NIA Region III BANE IMO- Nueva Ecija Satellite Office conducted a virtual meeting with the Nueva Ecija Provincial Agriculturist Bernardo Valdez to discuss the devolution of its functions on the Communal Irrigation Systems (CIS) of the province.

The NIA BANE IMO - Aurora Satellite Office had back-to-back Coordination Meetings with various LGUs to discuss the Devolution of CIS. Engr. Arnel Alipio and his able staff discussed the plans with Governor Gerardo Noveras and the Municipal Mayors of Dipaculao, Maria Aurora and San Luis.

National Irrigation Authority representative or NIA conducts inspection under the leadership of Mr. Randy Balauro and Ms. Catherine Pahingalo with the Local Government of San Marcelino through MDRRMO San Marcelino leading our beloved Mayor Elvis Ragadio Soris and MDRRMO Head Edar Mauricio III in some parts of the irrigation canal in the town today Friday, 16th. of July 2021.
