Distribution of Shallow Tube Well Pumps in Agupalo Este CIP

Shallow Tube Wells (STW) were distributed to farmers of the Water System of Agupalo East Association in line with the current Small Irrigation Project (SIP) being implemented by the Nueva Ecija Satellite Office.

The activity is part of Agupalo Este CIP which is part of the projects of the office for CY 2022. The STWs will further augment the irrigated area of the farmers starting from the end of their existing earth canal to irrigate the latter part of the area with higher elevation. Refresher on Dam and Canal Design

Nueva Ecija Satellite Office Head, Engr. Rogelio D. Velasco Jr., held a refresher for his staff wherein he discussed the basic principles and factors to be considered when designing dams and canals. 

Social, Technological and Exchange Program for Camiling RIS IA Federation

The Camiling RIS conducted a Social, Technological, Educational and Exchange Program (STEEP) for the CAMRIS IA Federation on June 27-29, 2022 at Candelaria, Zambales. The IAs were able to visit Nayom Bayto RIS Office and Nayom Dam. They also had the opportunity to exchange ideas and best practices with the IAs of the Zambales. #TuloyAngDaloyNIA

Tree Planting and Fingerling Stocking at Bulo Dam

NIA Region 3 took part in the Simultaneous National Greening Program in celebration of NIA’s 59th Founding Anniversary.

During the Inauguration of Bulo Dam in May 2022, Regional Manager Josephine B. NIA’s 59th Anniversary

During the celebration of NIA’s 59th Anniversary on the 22nd of June 2022, NIA Region 3 has been adjudged as the Best Regional Office for CY 2021 out of the 15 Regional Offices Nationwide, regaining the title which was previously held by Region 3 in 2019.

As part of the kick-off celebration for NIA's 59th Anniversary, a Sportsfest Activity was conducted by NIA Region 3 on June 16, 2022.Non-contact sports/games such as Badminton, Chess, Darts and Free Throw/Three-Point Shoot Out were featured for the four competing teams from the Regional Office, BANE IMO, PAMBAT IMO and TARZAM IMO.
