To push forward plans for the San Clemente Irrigation Project (IP), key stakeholders gathered at the Office of the Mayor in San Clemente, Tarlac, on January 21, 2025. The meeting and on-site survey were led by the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) Tarlac Irrigation Management Office (IMO), marking an important step toward the project's development.

Engr. Rogelio D. Velasco Jr., met with local officials, including Municipal Mayor Hon. Elma L. Macadamia, Vice Mayor Hon. Roseller M. Toledo, the MPDO Chief, and representatives from the Municipal Engineering Office.
The discussions focused on critical survey activities, including a topographic survey of the Maasin River dam site and detailed profile and cross-section surveys for canal alignment.
These efforts are aimed at enhancing irrigation infrastructure to boost agricultural productivity and address local water resource challenges. The collaboration between NIA and the local government reflects their shared commitment to sustainable development in San Clemente.
