The Operations and Maintenance Section of NIA Bulacan IMO, under the management of the Division Manager Engr. Placida C. Cordero and leadership of the O&M Chief Engr. Ernesto L. Mapoy, Jr., successfully conducted the Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) "Agri-Senso Loan Program" Dissemination to the AMRIS Federation and the Irrigators Association (IA) on May 31, 2024. The meetings took place at the NIA Bulacan IMO Conference Room in Barangay Tambubong, San Rafael, Bulacan. LBP's Agri-Senso Loan Program aims to provide agricultural loan to the farmers with irrigated farmland at low interest, affordable, and no collateral.
In line with this, LBP is requesting qualified farmer loan borrowers to secure NIA Certificate. As a consensus during the meeting, both parties agreed that the Certificate shall bear the farmer's name, RSBSA Number, and NIA Irrigated Lot Number, supported with the NIA parcellary map. The said documents will be honored by LBP upon duly signed by the IA President, confirmed by the Area Supervisor SWRFT, and IDO concerned, and noted by the OMS Chief and Bulacan IMO Manager. LBP and NIA ensure that transparency protection is for the welfare of the IAs and the farmer-beneficiaries.
