The NIA PAMBAT IMO has once again showed its support to agricultural prosperity by providing Shallow Tube Well (STW) Pumps and Engines to Irrigators Associations in the provinces of Pampanga and Bataan.
The Awarding of Pumps and Engines was done on March 19, 2024 at the NIA Compound, Solib, Floridablanca, Pampanga and at NIA Compound, San Ramon, Dinalupihan, Bataan. This was led by PAMBAT IMO Acting Division Manager Engr. Ruben R. Llamas, witnessed by the Section Chief of Operations and Maintenance - PDRIS Engr. Clarita G. Silverio, Acting Section Chief of Operations and Maintenance - CLBRIS Engr. Janelle I. Santos, Acting Section Chief of Operations and Maintenance - PGRIS Engr. Alexius S. Academia, Acting Section Chief of Engineering Engr. Angelito D. David, Pampanga Confederation of IAs President Mr. Nazario G. Vinuya. and Bataan CIS Federation IA President Mr. Luis A. Paule.
Engr. Josephine B. Salazar, the esteemed NIA Region 3 Regional Manager and Concurrent OIC-Deputy Administrator for Engineering and Operations, initiated the release of these vital tools to reduce the effects of El Niño and augment the water supply in the farmlands of Pampanga and Bataan. The heartwarming response from the recipients is a testament to the enduring commitment of NIA PAMBAT IMO towards the welfare of the farming community of the province.
