Under the leadership of NIA Central Luzon Regional Manager Engr. Josephine B. Salazar, the Annual Inter-IMO Canal Maintenance Visitation kicked-off at Bulacan Irrigation Management Office (Bulacan IMO) on September 2, 2024. The said activity aims to assess the year-round efforts of the IMOs and Irrigators Associations (IAs) as partners in maintaining the irrigation canals and facilities. It targets to provide adequate level of irrigation service to enable highly competitive and sustainable farming communities.
Bulacan IMO Manager Engr. Placida C. Cordero assisted by the Operations & Maintenance Chief Engr. Ernesto L Mapoy Jr., led the group consisting of IMO managers and section chiefs from the other IMOs that joined the visitation. The Regional Inspectorate Team is also present to conduct field visit and site inspection on main and lateral canals being maintained by IAs.
