The NIA Aurora-Nueva Ecija Irrigation Management Office (ANE IMO), led by Acting IMO Manager Engr. Arnel S. Alipio, has successfully registered a new cooperative: the Carranglan Irrigators Agriculture Cooperative (CIAC). The cooperative was formed by the Carranglan Water System Irrigators Association and is headed by Mr. Aliw Estabillo, who leads its 35 members.
CIAC's primary goal is to support its members by providing affordable, high-quality fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, and certified seeds, all sold at prices lower than those of local traders. This initiative aims to enhance agricultural production, improve livelihoods, and contribute to the economic development of the community.
The registration process was supported by Institutional Development Unit Head Mr. Marianito D. Bullozo, IDU staff Ms. Vannie V. Barcelo, and Cooperative Development Specialist II from the Cooperative Development Authority, Mr. Allen Rotas, who all assisted the cooperative in its application.
