CEREMONIAL AWARDING OF CHEQUES TO SLP BENEFICIARIES

On May 2, 2024 at Mayantoc Municipal Hall, Irrigators Associations (IAs) from Camiling River Irrigation System received cheques with a total amount of P945,000.00 to support their urban gardening projects and in recognition of their commitment to sustainable livelihood initiatives.

A big congratulations to the beneficiaries of the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) from the IAs of Camiling River Irrigation System. The recipients include members of the Gotalsan Farmers Irrigators Association (FIA), Sagcama FIA, Rotsama FIA, and Ropinca FIA, with their respective SLP Associations (SLPA), namely, San Bartolome IA EPAHP-SLPA, Mapandan IA EPAHP-SLPA, Agayep Veggie Growers EPAHP-SLPA, and Rotrottooc Veggie Growers EPAHP-SLPA.

SLP is a Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) program that builds livelihoods for poor, vulnerable, and marginalized households and communities, helping to improve their socio-economic conditions by providing access to the necessary assets to achieve sustainable and resilient livelihoods.

NIA Region III Acting IDS Chief Eden N. Garcia, Mayantoc Municipal Mayor Hon. Iluminado E. Pobre, Jr., EPAHP PDO II-CBGAO Olaida Marie Malonzo, Ronalyn Caisip, Mr. Janz Omar D. Morales, DSWD-SLP-PDO II Gee Joy S. Medina, Aljdreigp P. Aviguetero, Jhay R. Astrera, and Jeno Valdez were present in the event.
