Through a Consultation Meeting, NIA and DPWH discuss a collaborative convergence project to address critical issues related to address flooding concerns and to fast-track irrigation in the 3rd Congressional District of Bataan.
Bataan 3rd District Representative Hon. Angela Garcia presided over the said meeting. NIA Pampanga-Bataan IMO Manager Engr. Ruben Llamas, NIA Engineering Section Chief Engr. Angelito David, NIA Bataan Satellite Office Head Engr. Janelle Santos, Bataan 3rd District Engineering Office (DEO) Head Engr. Maribel Navarro, and Bataan Provincial Agriculturist Engr. Joey Dizon are present in the event. This initiative seeks to use the expertise and resources of both agencies to develop solutions that will mitigate flood risks while enhancing irrigation infrastructure, ultimately benefiting agricultural productivity and enhancing community resilience.
