A site inspection was conducted at the Construction/Improvement of the Canal System of Calius Gueco CIS and Lab CIS in Capas, Tarlac on August 2, 2024. The inspection was led by Engr. Joemar C. Delos Santos, Project-in-Charge, accompanied by Mr. Edwin P. Ventura, the President of the Irrigators Association (IA) for LAB CIS. This collaborative effort aims to enhance the irrigation infrastructure, which is expected to benefit the local farming community by improving water distribution and management.
The site inspection assessed the progress and quality of the ongoing construction and improvement works. Engr. Delos Santos provided technical oversight and ensured that the project adhered to the established standards and specifications. Meanwhile, IA President Ventura represented the local farmers, ensuring the needs and concerns were addressed throughout the project. This initiative shows the commitment of NIA Tarlac IMO to foster sustainable agricultural development and support the productivity and livelihood of the farmers in Capas, Tarlac.
