The Institutional Development Unit of TARZAM-IMO conducted the EPAHP Agro-Enterprise Development Training for Tarlac IA Provincial Federation at Al-Amir Labney, San Jose, Tarlac on December 1-2, 2021.
The two-day training was attended by the executive officers of SMNTCF FIA (CAMRIS), TASMORIS Federation and Tarlac CIS Federation. Resource persons came from Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Tarlac as our support agency in implementing EPAHP Program.
The Agro-Enterprise Development is a methodical process that shifts from production-based to market-oriented farming and opens opportunities for farmers to capture more value on their farm products. Likewise, this will help them to earn higher incomes and attain sustainable livelihood. This will also ensure the competitiveness of their products and facilitate a systematic approach on their production as agri-entrepreneurs. Hence, the conduct of this training on agro-enterprise development is deemed imperative to build their knowledge, skills and values for business.
