Dinalupihan, Bataan - NIA Central Office conducted a field evaluation and validation on NIA PamBat IMO's Mangindong-Bacong Irrigators Association (IA), Inc. at Brgy. Luacan on May 22, 2024. This activity is part of the assessment process of the Search for the National Outstanding Irrigators for CY 2023, with Mangindong-Bacong IA, led by President Ricardo Baraña, being one of the nominees. The event was attended by Bataan Provincial Federation of CIS, IA officers, Municipal Agriculturist of Dinalupihan, PamBat IMO Section Chiefs, and other staff.
The evaluation team led by Ms. Maricel M. Del Rosario, Community Development Officer IV and Chief of the IAAS under the IDD-DO of NIA, conducted a visit to assess the association’s performance, sustainability, and impact on the local farming community. Along with her are Lorna Villagonzalo, Community Development Oficer III, Engr. Hans Albert Ray R. Esguerra, Supervising Engineer of SMD-OD, and Katrina C. Tolentino, Corporate Accounts Analyst of BRD-FMD.
This recognition program seeks to highlight exemplary practices and achievements in irrigation management, promoting efficiency and productivity among Irrigators Associations across the country.
