Providing affordable rice to the community through the Farming Support Service Program (FSSP), the Kadiwa ng Pangulo sa NIA was held at the NIA CAMRIS Office in Malacampa, Camiling, Tarlac on February 14, 2025. This initiative aimed to support local farmers while ensuring that families had access to low-cost rice.
A total of 1,000 bags of rice were sold at ₱29 per kilo, benefiting 1,000 families. The rice, produced under the government’s FSSP, offered a direct and cost-effective source of staple food for the community. Farmer-beneficiaries from 25 Irrigators' Associations (IAs) and nearby barangays participated in the initiative, with CAMRIS staff assisting in the distribution.
This event reaffirmed the government's commitment to strengthening food security and supporting agricultural communities. By making rice more accessible and affordable, initiatives like Kadiwa ng Pangulo continue to provide much-needed relief to consumers while empowering local farmers.
