In alignment with the directive of President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. (PBBM), the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) and the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) convened a convergence meeting to enhance collaborative efforts and operational efficiency. The meeting was led by NIA Administrator Engr. Eddie G. Guillen, OIC-Deputy Administrator for Engineering and Operations Sector and concurrent NIA Region 3 Regional Manager Engr. Josephine B. Salazar, and DPWH Region 3 Regional Director Roseller A. Tolentino.
This strategic gathering aimed to streamline infrastructure projects and ensure synchronized execution of initiatives across Central Luzon. Both agencies discussed comprehensive plans to optimize resource allocation and expedite the completion of infrastructure and irrigation projects. This cooperation highlights the government's commitment in bolstering regional development and improving agricultural productivity.
The convergence meeting is an important step towards achieving the President’s goals of robust infrastructure development and enhanced public service delivery.
