Continuing its commitment to supporting the local farming community, the National Irrigation Administration Aurora-Nueva Ecija Irrigation Management Office (NIA ANE IMO) provided a backhoe to the Pingit Farmers and Irrigators Association in Brgy. Pingit, Baler, Aurora, on January 26, 2025.
This initiative, which covers 100 hectares and benefits 81 farmers, aims to improve irrigation efficiency and streamline farming operations, ultimately boosting agricultural productivity. IA President Dennis L. Zuñiga expressed the association's gratitude, noting that the backhoe will help clear the river of accumulated sediments, ensuring improved water flow, better irrigation, and increased crop yields for the community.
Through this effort, NIA ANE IMO reaffirms its commitment to empowering farmers and strengthening the agricultural sector.
