The Equipment Unit of the Operations and Maintenance Section, under the NIA-Bulacan IMO, currently is carrying out desilting operations at Balite Creek in Brgy. Dulong Malabon, Pulilan, Bulacan.
Spanning from Sta. 1+600 to Sta. 4+100, this initiative goals to maintain smooth water flow within the Angat Maasim River Irrigation System, located in Division 12, North Zone. As such, it aims to prevent silt to buildup making sure an enhanced irrigation efficiency for nearby agricultural areas.
This would therefore benefit the farmers of the Pinagtibay Irrigators Association Inc. by reducing blockages and improving their overall reliability in irrigation.
