The NIA – Camiling River Irrigation System (CAMRIS) is excited to share the latest developments from its recent caravan of activities.
On January 29-30, 2024, a series of initiatives aimed at bolstering the efficiency and effectiveness of CAMRIS operations were conducted in Brgy. Gossood and Cubcub Mayantoc, Tarlac. Among the highlights were the updating of the RSBSA matrix to ensure precise and up-to-date data on farmer members, the refinement of the Farmland Geographic Information System (FGIS) to maintain a reliable and accurate database of farmers’ parcels, and a reinforced campaign on the Free Irrigation Service Act or RA 10969 to provide crucial support in reducing farmers’ production costs while enhancing agricultural productivity through the provision of efficient and reliable free irrigation services.
This caravan highlights CAMRIS's commitment to community involvement and the long-term sustainability of its irrigation system. Notable attendees included CAMRIS personnel and Division 1 Irrigators Association Presidents Mr. Allan T. Casiño, Mr. Anastacio Q. Corpuz, and Mr. Rogelio Manuel.
