To establish a more efficient and a farmer-friendly palay procurement process, the National Food Authority (NFA) Central Luzon Acting Regional Manager Jeoffrey Paraton conducted coordination meeting with the National Irrigation Administration Central Luzon Regional Manager Engr. Josephine B. Salazar regarding truck support to streamline a better palay procurement process held at NIA Regional Office, Tambubong, San Rafael, Bulacan on October 8, 2024.
Attendees included the NFA Bulacan Acting Branch Manager Rhona P. Talens, NIA Engineering and Operations Division Manager Engr. Christian C. Manalo, and Bulacan IMO Manager Engr. Placida C. Cordero. The initiative seeks to deliver better transportation of palay from farmers to NFA warehouses ensuring that they receive fair compensation for their produce. The said collaboration is expected to significantly benefit the local agricultural community.
