In a move to enhance procurement processes and operational efficiency, the NIA Pampanga-Bataan Irrigation Management Office (PamBat IMO) held a successful orientation on the Online Project Procurement Management Plan and Purchase Request Information System (OPPIS) at the PamBat IMO Farmers' Training Center in Solib, Floridablanca, Pampanga, on October 28, 2024.
The orientation was led by IT Personnel Janie Mae Louise S. Beltran, who guided participants through key aspects of OPPIS, including user registration, role management, and effective use of NIA accounts within the system.
Also in attendance were Administrative and Finance Section Chief Jocelyn O. Dizon, Engineering Section Chief Engr. Angelito D. David, PGRIS - Operations and Maintenance Section Acting Chief Engr. Alexius S. Academia, Bataan Satellite Office Head Engr. Ruela C. Musngi, and Institutional Development Unit Head Reyna S. Sabado.Their presence highlighted the importance of the orientation in advancing NIA PamBat IMO's operational objectives.
The sessions also covered critical topics such as Common-Use Supplies and Equipment (CSE), Project Procurement Management Plan (PPMP), National Expenditure Program (NEP), and the Purchase Request (PR) process, deepening participants' understanding of how OPPIS streamlines procurement.
