The National Irrigation Administration Pampanga-Bataan Irrigation Management Office (NIA PamBat IMO) has made significant progress in its cofferdamming efforts at Porac Dam as of January 17, 2025.
This initiative addresses the challenge of insufficient water flow, which has hindered water delivery to elevated farmlands. By implementing cofferdamming, the PamBat IMO aims to enhance water distribution to the Main Canal West, ensuring irrigation for 140 hectares of farmland resulting to improved irrigation and increased productivity.
