The National Irrigation Administration–Pampanga-Bataan Irrigation Management Office (NIA PamBat IMO) and the CISA Irrigators Association (IA) held a coordination meeting on April 3, 2025, to finalize plans for the Proposed CY 2025 CISA IA Project.V Led by Engr. Angelito D. David, Acting Chief of the Engineering Section, with support from the Institutional Development Unit (IDU) staff, and IA members to discuss project timelines, roles, and implementation strategies. Discussions covered water delivery schedules, in-season maintenance, canal repairs, and committee formation to ensure smooth execution. A key point raised was the IA’s request to change the canal design from trapezoidal to rectangular, which was positively received by the Engineering Section.
The meeting strengthened coordination among stakeholders and reaffirmed NIA’s commitment to sustainable irrigation. Farmers expressed optimism, seeing the project as a step toward better water access and improved yields.
