NIA Region 3 convened with BPE Corporation and BlueCap Hydro (BCH) on June 6, 2023 at the NIA Region 3 Farmers' Training Center.
This meeting is in line with NIA Administrator Eduardo Eddie G. Guillen's directive on the harmonization and collaboration for possible infrastructure investment that will significantly impact the production potential of agriculture in the Philippines. The meeting's agenda was for BPE Corporation, a renewable energy company whose central vision is to develop projects in the micro-hydo field with its Dutch Partner, BlueCap Hydro to introduce their corporation's proposal. Presiding the meeting was Regional Manager Josephine B. Salazar, together with Acting Engineering and Operations Manager Christian C. Manalo, Bulacan IMO Manager Placida C. Cordero, and Acting Engineering Section Chief (Bulacan IMO) Wendell C. Martin. For BPE Corporation, the presentation was led by its President Frits Delgado, CJ Andres, Aira Turla, and the Chairman of BlueCap Hydro Drs. Duco Wansink.
