Spearheaded by OIC-Deputy Administrator for Engineering and Operations Sector and Concurrent Regional Manager Engr. Josephine B. Salazar, NIA Region III distributed a total of 5,190 bags of hybrid seeds and 1,894 bags of inbred seeds for NIA Contract Farming at NIA Region III Covered Court, Tambubong, San Rafael, Bulacan.
For hybrid seeds, the Angat-Maasim River Irrigation System was allocated a total of 3,800 bags, while Tarlac CIS received 170 bags. As for the inbred seeds, allocations were as follows: Nueva Ecija CIS received 14 bags, Pampanga Delta RIS obtained 760 bags, Porac-Gumain RIS secured 828 bags, and Tarlac CIS was allocated 292 bags.
This distribution of farm inputs represents a crucial advancement in NIA's Contract Farming Program, designed to strengthen Irrigators Association (IA) and enhance agricultural output within the region. Moreover, it aligns with President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.'s vision for Bagong Pilipinas in achieving food security.

Alipio, Pampanga-Bataan IMO Manager Engr. Ruben L. Llamas, Tarlac IMO Manager Engr. Alvin Roberto A. David and Zambales IMO Manager Rolando C. Espino were present during the distribution activity.
