The National Irrigation Administration (NIA) Pampanga-Bataan Irrigation Management Office (PamBat IMO) recently carried out a desilting operation at the Dila-Dila Communal Irrigation System (CIS) in Dinalupihan, Bataan, from February 3 to 7, 2025. This initiative aims to enhance water flow and improve irrigation efficiency.
The desilting activity benefits 24 farmers across the 38.44-hectare service area of the Dila-Dila CIS. By removing silt and debris from the irrigation channels, NIA ensures a more reliable and consistent water supply, ultimately supporting higher crop yields and promoting sustainable agricultural productivity.
