Amidst the challenges brought by Typhoon Enteng, NIA Pampanga-Bataan IMO triumphed with the successful launch of the KADIWA sa NIA stalls in the barangays of Solib and San Isidro, Floridablanca, Pampanga on September 04, 2024.
The initiative featured a diverse range of products sourced from local farmers in Floridablanca and Lubao, which were sold to beneficiaries of 4Ps, senior citizens, solo parents, and persons with disabilities. A total of 300 sacks of rice were sold at P29 per kilo. Indigenous Peoples (IPs), led by Carrot Apang from Nabuklod, Floridablanca, Pampanga, were prioritized.
The KADIWA program became possible through the dedicated leadership and support of Regional Manager Engr. Josephine B. Salazar, PamBat IMO Manager Engr. Ruben R. Llamas, Engineering and Operations Division Manager Engr. Christian C. Manalo, Administrative and Finance Division Manager Rochelle R. Cervantes and RCIA President Nazario G. Vinuya.
This initiative is a testament to NIA's unwavering commitment in supporting the most vulnerable sectors of the community, providing essential goods at affordable prices, and uplifting the lives of farmers. This embodies NIA's objective to enhance the well-being of residents and farmers, especially during these challenging times.
