Payout for Zero Hunger Dinalungan Vegetables Sustainable Livelihood Programs Associations (SLPAs)

On May 20, 2024, NIA Aurora-Nueva Ecija IMO assisted in the payout for Zero Hunger Dinalungan Vegetables Sustainable Livelihood Programs Associations (SLPAs) in the Municipality of Dinalungan, Aurora. A total of 30 members from Bial-Talaytay Irrigators Association, represented by Mr. Michael G. Olila, Zero Hunger Fisherfolks SLPA, and Ms. Gina T. Bustillos, Project Development Officer II of DSWS Aurora, were present in the activity. The event was organized for the beneficiaries of DSWD's Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) in the said municipality whose primary focus is to produce agricultural products through their Urban Gardening Program.

This initiative aims to strengthen the support to our farmers by ensuring that they have the necessary resources to thrive and contribute positively to their communities. It does not only seek to provide immediate financial relief but also targets to establish a sustainable model of income for the beneficiaries.
