Supporting Our Farmers, One Swift Action at a Time

At the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) Zambales IMO, we remain steadfast in our mission to support our hardworking farmers. A single request from our farmers was met with prompt and decisive action!

Under the visionary leadership of Acting Division Manager Engr. Enrique G. Carlos, alongside the swift response of Engr. Tito M. Lacanlale, Operations and Maintenance Chief, and Mr. Oscar M. Madarang, NBRIS Satellite Office Head, the immediate repair of the embankment of Lateral A at Bayto Area (Station 3+160) under Bitsandu IA has been successfully completed.

This repair is more than just an infrastructure fix—it’s a vital step in ensuring:

  •   Proper water distribution for irrigation
  •   Prevention of water loss
  •   Continuous productivity of farmlands

By maintaining and improving our irrigation systems, NIA empowers farmers to maximize their crop yields, avoid irrigation downtimes, and secure sustainable water access—key pillars for a resilient and progressive farming community. Thanks to the unwavering dedication of our Operations and Maintenance Team, farmers can now rely on a reinforced and efficient irrigation system that bolsters their livelihoods and uplifts the agricultural sector. Our farmers have expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the fast and effective action, and together, we move forward in strengthening agricultural productivity for a brighter and more sustainable future.

Let’s continue working hand in hand for a more progressive and thriving farming community!
