NIA Tarlac IMO and DPWH 1st DEO Collaborate for Tarlac Farmers' Welfare
In a significant move towards enhancing the agricultural infrastructure in the Province of Tarlac, NIA Tarlac IMO and DPWH 1st District Engineering Office held a coordination meeting at the Office of the NIA Tarlac IMO Manager.
The discussions revolved around addressing the immediate needs of farmer-beneficiaries, particularly through the presentation of NIA’s plans and programs for the irrigation components of the projects. Additionally, potential flood control measures, as hinted by NIA, were presented by DPWH's consideration.
This meeting was attended by key officials including Engr. Eduardo Bautista, Engr. Mark Lawrence Batcho, and Engr. Holderon Santos of DPWH, alongside Engr. Alvin Roberto A. David, Division Manager, and Engr. Arvin Maynard C. Musni, Engineering Section Chief of NIA Tarlac IMO, focused on the joint efforts for the projects in Camangaan West and Tolega Norte in Moncada, Tarlac.
Both parties expressed their gratitude and commitment to ongoing collaboration, recognizing the vital role of the said partnership in improving the lives of the farmers in the province. This series of meetings on August 9 and August 15, 2024 highlighted the continued convergence between NIA and DPWH to ensure the sustainability and success of the agricultural sector.
