The Three-Day Social, Technological and Educational Exchange Program (STEEP) for Panlalawigang Asosasyong Samahan ng Magppatubig sa Nueva Ecija, Inc., PASAMANE, and Aurora Federation of Farmers and Irrigators Association, Inc. was conducted on August 09, 2024.
The participants visited the Cong. Dadong Dam located in Arayat, Pampanga and Tangilad Dam in Barangay Tala, Orani, Bataan. Pampanga-Bataan IMO technical personnel and Institutional Development Unit (IDU) staff warmly welcomed the Aurora-Nueva Ecija IMO farmers. They gave a briefing about the history and profile of the said dams.
The group visited the irrigation facilities and learned how it works. The experience that they have learned can contribute to their respective associations to be more knowledgeable and equipped on irrigation system management.
