In partnership with DOLE’s Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD), NIA Tarlac IMO conducted the Orientation and Contract Signing for 100 farmer-beneficiaries from IAs in the Municipality of Mayantoc, Santa Ignacia, and Camiling, Tarlac on March 27, 2024 at NIA CAMRIS Malacampa, Camiling, Tarlac.
The farmers of NIA CAMRIS are given additional income other than farming as they are temporarily hired to work for a maximum of eight hours per day for 10 days to earn a daily wage of P500.00. They were divided into three groups to perform canal clearing at Caanamongan Sta. Ignacia, Gossood Mayantoc, and Matubog Camiling, where they reside respectively.
Present in the said activity were NIA CAMRIS Acting Chief Engr. Rogelio D. Velasco, Jr., Senior Institutional Development Officer Rachelle Eugenio Dizon, and DOLE-Tarlac Representatives Ms. Desire Gonzales and Mr. Ronnie G. Dela Cruz Jr.
