NIA Bulacan IMO Operation and Maintenance Section, through the Equipment Unit, is currently working on the canal desilting operations of Lateral F, Div. 11 - North Zone of the Angat-Maasim River Irrigation System, located in Barangay Sta. Barbara, Baliwag City, Bulacan. The said desilting of canal will remove the accumulated sediments and restore it to its original depth and capacity. This will ensure an efficient and effective flow of irrigation water to 150 hectares of farmlands with 120 farmer-beneficiaries under the Masaganang Buhay Irrigators Association, Inc., headed by IA President Petronilo Bernardo.
