The Porac Gumain River Irrigation System (PGRIS) of the NIA Pampanga-Bataan Irrigation Management Office (PamBat IMO), together with IMO Manager, Engr. Ruben R. Llamas and PGRIS Chief Engr. Alexius S. Academia, distributes 828 sacks of NSIC 402 seeds to five Irrigators Associations (IAs) namely, Main Canal North IA, San Pedro IA, San Pablo Roque IA, San Pablo 2nd IA and Alfaro Paule Pingul IA, benefitting 345 farmers participating in the Rice Contract Farming Program.
The event marks a significant step in supporting local agriculture and ensuring sustainable rice production in the region.
