As part of the Agency's efforts to fast-track the implementation of irrigation projects nationwide, NIA Senior Deputy Administrator Engr. Robert C. Suguitan and OIC-Deputy Administrator for Engineering and Operations Sector Engr. Josephine B. Salazar led the conduct of Special Meeting with NIA Regional Managers nationwide on June 14, 2024 at NIA Region 3 Farmers Training Center, Tambubong, San Rafael, Bulacan. The agenda of the meeting include NIA's convergence projects with DPWH for FY 2025, additional proposed project for FY 2024, contract farming program, fund utilization, and updating of online monitoring report for the status of irrigation projects.
All of these are in line with the 7-Point Strategic Policy Agenda of NIA Administrator Engr. Eduardo Eddie G. Guillen, particularly in irrigation infrastructure development.
