On July 04, 2024, the Joint Site Inspection between NIA - Bulacan Irrigation Management Office and Department of Public Works and Highway (DPWH) - Bulacan 1st District was conducted at Cacarong Communal Irrigation System (CIS), Brgy. Cacararong, Pandi, Bulacan. The collaboration efforts seek to evaluate the area for the potential water embankment project or water impounding in the course of typhoon and rainy seasons that will help manage excess water, protect communities, and ensure the efficient use of water resources.
Engr. Wendell C. Martin, Chief of Engineering Section, Engr. Ernesto L. Mapoy Jr., Chief of the Operation and Maintenance Section, Mr. Francisco J. Clara, WCCU Head, Other NIA Personnel and Engr. Prince Earl De Ocampo, Engineer II, DPWH Bulacan 1st District and staff were present on the said activity.
