On July 10, 2024, the Institutional Development Unit (IDU) staff of the NIA Tarlac Irrigation Management Office (Tarlac IMO) carried out the distribution of payroll for the first tranche of the NIA Contract Farming Program in Sta. Monica, Concepcion, Tarlac. Members from the Sta. Monica Kabalantian Irrigators Association, Inc. gathered to receive their payments. This initial tranche reflects the program's commitment in providing timely financial support to its beneficiaries. The distribution aims to compensate the IA members for their active involvement and contributions to NIA's initiative. By supporting local farmers through contract farming, the Agency seeks to enhance agricultural productivity and sustainability in the region. The event marked a significant step in the program, underscoring the collaborative efforts between NIA and the local farming community to achieve inclusive growth and development.
