The Angat Maasim RIS carried out the levelling of service road near irrigation canals in Brgy. Sapang Bayan, Calumpit, Bulacan to continuously and efficiently distribute water supply to farmlands. The said service road is not only being utilized by NIA equipment during operation and maintenance activities but it also serves as an access road of farmers in transporting their farm inputs and farm products to/from their fields.
A Coordination Meeting between the Bataan Satellite Office and BSM Chairpersons of COLO IA was held to discuss the policy made by the officers during the Systems Management Training. The approved policy will be downloaded to all sectors for their information.
Water delivery starting December 20, 2021 was unanimously agreed by the Chairpersons that resolved the issues of the IAs as presided by the Bataan Satellite Head, Engr Wendell C. Martin, and his staff.
The Angat Maasim RIS successfully repaired the pump of Palanguyan sa Bunay Irrigators Association. Members of the association are grateful that their request was granted and that their water supply is back to provide sufficient irrigation to their farmlands.
The Porac Gumain RIS conducted an IA Council Meeting in Lubao, Pampanga to discuss matters relative to the Schedule of Water Delivery.
To ensure that computers and networking devices are functional and secured, the Regional Office I.T. Staff and IMO I.T. Focal Person conducted Preventive Maintenance of ICT Equipment during the months of October and November 2021. The said activity includes cleaning of devices, checking for updates on programs and other software, uninstalling unnecessary applications that may harm or slow down devices and reminding the users to back up their files religiously to prevent data loss.
The Pampanga Delta RIS held a Staff Meeting with the newly-designated PDRIS Chief, Engr. Clarita G. Silverio.
The NIA Aurora Satellite Office conducted their Regular Staff Meeting with the newly-designated Satellite head, Engr. Angelito D. David. The meeting was held to discuss the Status of On-going projects, O&M, IDS Accomplishments, Submission of reports, Year-End Assessment, and other matters that needs to be addressed.
The Bataan Provincial FIA held their General Assembly Meeting at the Baluyot Farm in Dinalupihan, Bataan, an open space to accommodate all the participants. Annual Report and activities of the federation were the main topic, followed by the issues and concerns of each IAs which were addressed by Engr. Wendell C. Martin. Devolution of CISs to LGUs and Condonation were also discussed.
