The Angat Maasim RIS participated in a meeting organized by the Municipal Agricultural Office of Candaba, Pampanga on December 09, 2021, at Magumbali, Candaba, Pampangato.

The said meeting was also attended by the Barangay/Town Officials, Irrigators Association Presidents, and representatives from NIA-UPRIIS and NIA Pampanga Delta RIS. The Porac Gumain RIS conducted a Coordination Meeting with the Sta. Rita-Cruz IA to discuss issues in relation to water delivery at Sta. Cruz, Lubao, Pampanga.

Repair of Embankment on the upstream portion of Layac Dam was conducted by the Bataan Satellite Office to ensure the water delivery on the area.

The Bataol Irrigators Association, Inc. in Samal, Bataan under the supervision of the Bataan Satellite Office conducted their Regular Canal Clearing for the smooth water delivery in their sector.

 

The Angat Maasim RIS conducted Area Monitoring at Pasuba IA, Baliwag, Bulacan for the updating of Farming Activities Status. Also dicussed with the IA is their request for the Replacement of Steel Gate.

 

As part of the Marketing Agreement in the EPAHP Program between Pilar Magsaysay IA and Tulay ng Kabataan Foundation, the Bataan Satellite Office supervised and monitored the trade made by the two parties last December 15, 2021.

 

Desilting and Cleaning of Balanayao Creek, located at Brgy. Balanayao, Candaba, Pampanga- North Zone of Angat Maasim RIS. The said activity was conducted through the efforts of AMRIS and Balanayao sa Sitio Culasa IA, headed by Mr. Jose Centeno - IA President. At present, the Balanayao sa Sitio Culasa IA uses pumps to irrigate almost 110 hectares of farmland.

The Nueva Ecija Satellite Office conducted a site inspection and surveying activities (i.e., checking of elevation) in Cabileo SWIP in Cuyapo, Nueva Ecija. The project is proposed to irrigate 100 hectares of farmland in the Municipality of Cuyapo.

Prior to reporting its 100% completion, the Nueva Ecija Satellite Office conducted a site inspection of the Phase II of Cadaclan CIP in Pantabangan, Nueva Ecija. The project, sponsored by the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP) in Brgy. Cadaclan, Pantabangan which is declared as an Agrarian Reform Community (ARC), aims to increase the irrigated land from 30 hectares to 200 hectares. With the potential of further increasing its irrigated land, a Phase III for 2022 is being proposed.

 

 

The Nueva Ecija Satellite Office conducted a site inspection of the on-going Salwit Small Water Impounding Project (SWIP) in Bongabon, Nueva Ecija. Currently, the project is working on the construction of the SWIP's spillway. The project, now on its 90% completion, aims to irrigate 30 hectares of farmland in Gabaldon, Nueva Ecija.
