Cordero attended the one-day training on Refresher Course on How to Conduct Measurement of Stream Discharge on June 10, 2021 at NIA CAMRIS Conference Hall, Brgy. Malacampa, Camiling, Tarlac. Mr Rufino G. Dancel, Institutional Development Section Chief of NIA Balog-Balog Multipurpose Project served as the resource speaker.
This is in response to the request of Nagkakaisang Magsasaka ng Bagong Sibol Bakod Bayan Inc. to validate their area for a proposed irrigation system.

In accordance with the religious implementation of Memorandum Circular No.55 s.2014 - Camiling RIS together with the Lateral A-5 FIA perfomed Cutting of Trees along irrigation canal.
The cutting of trees was approved by Mr. Mariano P. Lagartera, Jr - OIC, CENR Officer of DENR-Camiling, dated May 31, 2021 and was released dated June 8, 2021 with Permit No. 2021-07 to Engr. Placida C. Cordero - HEAD, CAMRIS. This includes (4) Gmelina and (2) Acacia trees.

Coordination Meeting and Orientation on Operations and Maintenance Compensation Subsidy of 33 Irrigators Association under Aurora Federation of Farmers and Irrigators Association, Inc. held at Dinalungan, Aurora
This activity was headed by Engr. Isabelito Bitangcol, Division Manager A of NIA PAMBAT IMO and was assisted by Acting IDS Chief, Ofelita S. Pangan. Aside from the Distribution of IA Subsidy, a conference was also conducted in preparation for the coming of Wet Cropping Season 2021.
In preparation for the wet season, the Operations and Maintenance Section of Pampanga Delta RIS headed by Engr. Christian C. Manalo conducted Inspection and Validation in Division 6, particularly, in Concepcion Dam of the Consta IA located in Concepcion, Mexico, Pampanga.
The NIA and Bataan LGU has partnered with Israeli Consultants to make this Drip Irrigation Project come true. This is a type of micro-irrigation system that has the potential to save water and nutrients by allowing water to drip slowly to the roots of plants, either from above the soil surface or buried below the surface to be able to place water directly into the root zone and minimize evaporation.
