NESO conducts IA coordination meeting and inspection of areas for proposed solar pump projects in in District 1 of Nueva Ecija.

Headed by Engr. Kristoffer Santiago, representatives from NESO (i.e. Engr. Collin Paulino, Assitant PIC for the projects and Emerson Viernes, CRA-B for District 1) visited Malabog Carriedo CIS and Aquino PIS in Licab, Nueva Ecija and Salagusog SPIP in Cuyapo, Nueva Ecija.

Refresher Course on the uses, calibration and maintenance of different measuring devices to be able to acquire accurate measurement of water discharges for an equitable, proportionate and timely distribution of water to farmlands.

The Nueva Ecija Satellite Office (NESO) headed by Engr. Santiago conducted a Project Inspection of On-going Sta. Catalina CIS and participated in a Coordination Meeting with Sapang Madilim Water Sta. Catalina System Inc. in Brgy. Santor, Bongabon, Nueva Ecija.

The meeting tackled the request of the association with regards to the length of the canal and the desilting of creek.

 

Site Validation conducted in Labi River, Bongabon, Nueva Ecija for the Feasibility Study of Kalaanan Irrigation Project. The site validation was headed by Engr. Kristoffer Santiago, Acting Head of NESO. They were assisted by Camptad Communal Irrigators Association. The Proposed Irrigation Project aims to irrigate 6,200 hectares of farmland in municipalities of Bongabon, Rizal, and Laur.

The National Irrigation Administration - TARZAM IMO and Samahang Magsasaka ng Tarlac North Council Federation of Irrigators Association (SMNTCF FIA) successfully conducted Community Pantry held at NIA-IA Trading Post, Malacampa, Camiling, Tarlac. The Community Pantry was headed TARZAM IMO Manager Engr. Jaime Mananghaya, CAMRIS head Engr. Ida Cordero and Fed. Pres. Rodenio T. Sotero with the assistance of PEMS Antonio and his team.

 

The Nueva Ecija Satellite Office, headed by Engr. Kristoffer Santiago, attended the BOD meeting of Brgy. Macarse Irrigators Association Inc. in the Municipality of Zaragosa, Nueva Ecija.

In response to the irrigation water need of the farmers of Tarlac City and La Paz, TASMORIS Chief Engr. Ruben R. Llamas and Tarlac Provincial Federation IA President Mr. Alfredo Magdangal coordinated with the LGU of San Jose, Tarlac to ask favorably for excess water supply. This is by diverting water from the existing brush dam in Brgy. Moriones of this municipality down to the Tarlac Diversion Dam.
