NIA CARP-IC PROJECTS

For years NIA-CARP IC completed and proposed  projects in Zambales have demonstrated remarkable  performances in terms of institutional and  o and M activities. Two (2) ARISP projects completed in 2011, the Lomboy CIS of Almasin Lomboy IA and the Taposo CIS of Dalig Hobol IA have exhibited great performance in the operation and management of their irrigation system thru  their respective  irrigator Associations.

BUSTOS DAM

After 3 years of rehabilitation, the Angat Afterbay Regulator Dam or mostly known as Bustos Dam, a run of the river type of dam, located in Tibagan, Bustos, Bulacan is at 98.66% completed where the major scheme of work is the replacement of rubber gates in seven (7) pier measuring 79 meters each laid above a concrete ogee dam measuring at 76.9 meter each pier. Ang  Malibay-Kalawakan Irrigators Association ay ang itinatag na Samahang Magpapatubig ng Bulo Dam sa San Miguel, Bulacan na ginagawang kasalukuyan. 6.1 Rocked Region 3

The entire Central Luzon was shaken by   a magnitude 6.1 tectonic earthquake on April 22, 2019 with its epicenter located in the mountains between the provinces of Pampanga and Zambales.

After the Managers Conference hosted by the NIA Region 3 in Candelaria, Zambales, Regional Manager Josephine B. Salazar called a successive Agency Performance Rating Conference for the Regions’ 3 Irrigation Management Offices to evaluate each performances.

NIA R3 HOSTED MANAGERS MEETING

The NIA Regional Office 3 and the Tarlac-Zambales Irrigation Management Office (IMO) hosted the NIA Managers Meeting in Isla de Potipot Hotel and Beach Resort in Candelaria, Zambales on March 27 – 30, 2019. TURNOVER OF CASTILLO PIP

February 15, 2019 - The National Irrigation Administration – Region 3 turned over to the Castillo Farmer Settlers the two (2) units of water pump driven by a diesel engine as prime mover installed in a concrete pump house above a protective dike which will irrigate 361 hectares of farmland owned and tilled by 69 farmer beneficiaries.
