NIA TARLAC IMO RESPONDS TO SUPER TYPHOON CARINA WITH URGENT CANAL MONITORING

On July 24, 2024, Super Typhoon Carina brought persistent rainfall which significantly raised water levels in local dams and canals in the region. In response to this, NIA Tarlac IMO undertook critical monitoring activities to oversee the situation and mitigate flooding risks.

From July 22-23, 2024, NIA Tarlac Irrigation Management Office (Tarlac IMO) conducted an extensive inspection of non-serviceable equipment at NIA Tarlac IMO, TASMORIS, and BBMP-II compound, as well as the CAMRIS satellite office.
