Nagsagawa ng desilting activity ang mga kawani ng NIA Aurora-Nueva Ecija IMO sa kahabaan ng Disalit (CRIS) Lateral B-1 na matatagpuan sa Bayan ng San Luis, Aurora noong nakaraang April 15-19, 2024. Ang nasabing irrigation canal ay may service area na 30 ektarya at may 25 benepisyaryong magsasaka. The 152 farmer-beneficiaries of Ilog-Bitan IA Farm in Barangay San Isidro, San Luis, Pampanga can anticipate enhanced irrigation water flow, reduced flood hazards, and elevated agricultural output during this coming 2024 Wet Cropping Season.This was made possible with the excavation and desilting works undertaken by NIA Bulacan IMO during the early part of 1st Quarter this year. To enhance irrigation efficiency, NIA Pampanga-Bataan IMO conducted an excavation and desilting operation along the Alilao-Ambagan IA Main Canal located in Barangay Poblacion, Morong, Bataan on April 17-19, 2024.

With 90 farmer-beneficiaries, Alilao-Ambagan IA Main Canal provides vital water resources to irrigate 120 hectares of farmland in the said municipality.
