The NIA Zambales Irrigation Management Office executed a desilting operation at Lateral B of the Upper Bagsit River Irrigation System in the Municipality of Palauig, Zambales on April 29, 2024, in anticipation of the forthcoming wet cropping season. The representatives from NIA Central Office, NIA Region III, Pampanga-Bataan Irrigation Management Office, and Ascott Pacific Consultants, Inc. conducted a map test on the proposed damsite, reservoir, and canal alignment of Pita Small Reservoir Irrigatiom Project (Pita SRIP) located in the Municipality of Orion, Bataan on May 6-9, 2024.
