INSTALLATION OF STAFF GAUGES AT LATERAL A AND LATERAL B-1 CANALS, AMRIS NORTH ZONE

The NIA Bulacan IMO installed staff gauges at the Lateral A and Lateral B-1 canals in the North Zone of the Angat-Maasim River Irrigation System (AMRIS) on May 27, 2025.

NIA ANE IMO RESPONDS TO SUGUIT IA CONCERNS WITH SITE VALIDATION

Following a resolution from the Suguit Irrigators Association, the National Irrigation Administration – Aurora-Nueva Ecija IMO (NIA ANE IMO) conducted a coordination meeting and site validation in Maria Aurora, Aurora on May 15, 2025.

The irrigation system serves about 80 hectares of farmland and supports 97 farmers. The activity aimed to assess its current condition and address the association’s concerns to ensure continued irrigation efficiency.

NIA PAMBAT CONDUCTS DESILTING AT MIYABE ABE IA, BOOSTING IRRIGATION FOR 111 FARMERS

The National Irrigation Administration (NIA) Pampanga-Bataan Irrigation Management Office (PamBat IMO) conducted a desilting activity at the Miyabe Abe Irrigators Association (IA) under the Pampanga Delta River Irrigation System (PDRIS) from May 13 to 18, 2025.

The work covered 319 hectares of farmland, improving water flow and irrigation efficiency.

As a result, 111 farmers now benefit from more reliable irrigation, leading to better crop yields and more sustainable farming.
